I spent a bit of time out improving my 'skills' lol, Im putting alot more detail into it now but it takes too long sometimes.
At the moment I am working on this new project but am always up for new stuff.

zena, i can put out 4 tracks easily a day, with melody, but thats not what its about..be detail, it shows. i promise. from the basic ear candy down to the vocal effects, delays, and samples, use some type of technique.. and dont get overwhelmd.. just go ahead and put a pause on the track and come abck to it another time. i know exactly where your comming from.

..as far as the album, i've been having enough tracks, its just about gettting the right ones for each album. i have over 300 tracks easily. im actually plannin on dropping like 3 albums at once. i have a master plan, but im working with a bunch of local artist(rappers) and i've been caught up with that as well.. i need to stop bsin and get it out already.. i'll be gigging again by april so i'll be good with gettin it out.

you need to stop and give me some shit to remix!! haha

I don't know why it takes me so long to make a track.. I really need to speed up the process a bit if i want to get anywhere, any advice?
Yep, detail is the key. I have been on reason for a while now and im only just discovering the effects column lol.

zena your learning and you always will be. Remember there is no right way or wrong way to make music, just standards. It takes time and a lot of dedication. Don't try so hard, cause then your faking.. just flow with it...have you tried laying out your drum sequence first then layering your subbass.. then your melody... probably one of the most common and basic techniques but very effective. Try working on a 8bar loop, or a 16.. you'll get the hang of it. email me whatever you got already so i can remix it and send it back as the REX file so you can see what i've done. cool?

@Adobe, I think trying too hard is something i tend to do.. I will try and just let it flow.
Yeah, I recently started doing it in the order of drums, then bass, then samples & effects and then the melody. It works better like that.
Will send you some stuff in a bit, I am working on this little collab with this other producer at the moment but im up for something new.
