And what Vivace said, don't use the magixmusic maker technique, don't just "mix" the samples to a track, try to build synthesis with the samples, cut them, slice them, make them bleed,... with "Treasure Hunting" we took the basic forms from the samples, resulting in a sine, square and blockwave, throw some effects on them and you have your very own synthesis build from a sample, the possibilties are endless!
enjoy and goodluck!
i agree. but also, this pack contains enough material to produce many albums even... no real limitations as a lot of the sounds are well decent and fit for purpose already. a challenge would be to make someting truly great based on something truly shite.nowaysj wrote:^ which I've never understood really. If you can manage to find a sine saw and square wave cycle, what is the point of having a sample pack at all?
Because not everybody processes sound in the same way. Besides, if you don't understand how or why or when you should or could extract a waveform from a sample, then rejoice there is a samplepack! Is making sound from a basic waveform the only way to make a proper sound? No, far from it. But the technique does expand your possibilities by miles. If you can process a squarewave into a baby bunny devouring demon, imagine what you can do with a sampled Buchla Modular, which you can find in this samplepack.nowaysj wrote:^ which I've never understood really. against the rules, nowaysj wrote:Take that sine waveform load it into two operators of an fm synth that allows user waves, modulate the first operator with the second, u have insta filth at inharmonic ratios.
Put envelopes, lfo's, filters where you will.

one word of advice to people upping packs for these though
24 bit samples are a pain in the ass for us reason users
