Its not because of making money. Its the chance for people to listen to his releases in full. Imo it doesnt makes sense to produce loads of quality releases and dont release these. I dont think people produce stuff only for themselves but also for the masses. If they dont want to make money they could give these tunes out for free.

The unreleased dubplates that Mala plays are a big reason why people go to see him, if they were all released then anyone could play them and they would just become another release that everyone has, I really do think it's better that Only a select few have these tunes because when you hear these played out at a dance it seems special (trying not to sound cliche). I think Mala is doing things perfectly by every now and then releasing a track out of the blue that no one is expecting. Don't get me wrong I would love to get my hands on some of these tracks but IMO they would loose there special quality.
Fuck a LP of all his unreleased tunes all about singles for a producer like Mala, Unless a LP of fresh new tunes made specifically for an album.

But his point still makes no sense because it's Malas music he can release what he wants. Also Mala plays vinyl so why would he release his tunes on mp3 for free which would be a big fuck you to all the vinyl fans...

And also it's the whole having to go see him play thing, which has already been mentioned.

I know why he doesn't give them away for free, if you read my first post it said "I think he should hold onto his tracks and only release the best ones", I was just making the others guys point clear becuase bagelator didn't understand.
