Neil's been around for absolutely ages in fact since the mid/late nineties. He started off releasing minimal hard techno and had releases on Tresor / Peace Frog etc. I remember him getting a lot of plays on Peel around that time. I've got one of his records. I guess ye haven't caught on to the scottish sense of humour then? And yeah, i was only talking about Glasgow there, but now that i think about it, those rules pretty much count for any city.
We were going to buy Loops Haunt a deep fat fryer for his birthday, but we decided that he'd kill himself. Not through heart disease though, he'd try to deep fry a cup of tea or something and burn down his flat.
