I was looking for something to tattoo on my arm, and 'aesthetics' just kind of came to me.
So i got the word tattooed on my arm the same day, and decided it would be pretty hardcore to have my producer alias tattooed on me (talk about devotion).
So I just changed names to aesthetics (from some other horrid alias), and I'm stuck with it for life
(literally).
Plus it looks sick when I'm playing out and I do that Tiesto thing where I raise both my arms and people can see the alias they read on the flyer tattooed on me,
that way they know which DJ I am...
Photo's old as fuck, but yeah I'm still young.

By the way, the font is arial. Getting the whole cursive twirly letter thing has been rinsed.

ive been putting my name as trip in video games for years. and i put tripwire in some name generator and i got TRPWR. which no one can fucking read the 1st time.....i want a new name

was 86 before. was called that cuz of the year I was born. now the name is just cuz blue is my fav colour.....the "patterns" is just how I think my shit sounds. blue patterns.
lol no interesting explanation I'm afriad.
I aint hearing the indie rock names in here like Styrofoam Existent Bears and shit like that

I think you all should exhibit this kinda DEEP insight when choosing your musician name
I was jus' released from the hospital after my heart stopped on me earlier after gettin' my "fix" over on my girl Kitty Cee's spot.
Apparently, some Vibe reporter made the mistake of tryin' to sit down with Algernod aka Plies for an intelligent and informative interview.
He figured starting him off with somethin' simple like askin' him where he got the name "Plies" from would be easy. What he got was this:
"Plies is a tool, You can use it to put the squeeze on things, like I’m doing to these n!ggas in the rap game. I got the squeeze on them real tight, they feeling the pressure, or you can use it to pull things out. I pull out all the bullshit and keep the real you feel me?It also a word you can use in terms of things goin’ on in yo life, ya dig. You may hear something I say and say that it plies to me.”
The interviewer goes on to say: “I’ve heard of a tool called a Pliers and the term applies.”
and the Rapper responded: “You know what I’m trying to say my nig*a, just buy my album, I’m from the South my ni*ga, we don’t learn no grammar."
*after removing my hands from my entire face* Why...........on earth.........is someone giving him money". Ignorance and money is NEVER a good mixture. I think I died a thousand times plus one after reading this.

GH02 has kindof evolved over the years, mainly from losing/forgetting passwords. Started off as Grasshopper years ago.. named after my favourite coffee shop in Amsterdam

Got my name from my xbox live account name - zone trooper
I came up with zone trooper because I wanted to name myself storm trooper (be playing alot of Star Wars: Battlefront at the time). Anyways that was taken so I choose zone trooper from when the announcer in Halo 2 says 'In the zone' etc when you get X amount of kills. From that I started using zonetrooper5 as my username on many forums including a games site called News 4 Gamers or N4G for short.
If you want to know how I got my Blinded Warlords name, I went onto Wikipedia and clicked the random article link. Got the Warlord bit from some Chinese/Korean warlord and I got the blinded bit from this article called Blind Man in the mirror or something like that.

i was with a couple good friends, sparking a bowl by the ocean... a couple girls from the valley were chillin at the same spot, so we invited them over and got to talking.. i told them i make music, and one of them says
"what's your name?"
i told them i didn't really have one yet... was still waiting for the right one to come up and bite me
so she asked my name.
i told her, "Paul."
she said, "how 'bout.... Sir Paul?"
my friends started repeating this in various accents and voices, and it just started feeling right.
so to that unknown girl from San Jose, thanks. if i ever get famous, it would be cool to run into her again

I took mine from 2000ad/Judge Dredd... They use the word "Drok" as a swear word and I elaborated on it.

i have a black hoodie from a now defunct company named "aesthetics" ... random. Its printed in arial with a logo on it. You should rock their now vintage shit.
