Oh no, don't remind me of that video! It doesn't sound like a fun dream.
Didn't know this at all :o, lucky then because i've actually tried to get people's attention with my breathing to try and wake me up anytime it's happened with people around.

Had abit of another sleep paralysis experience last night while trying to sleep. I fell into a dream where i was standing by a bus stop with two girls i know from college, then i randomly start running until i was running up this hill that was there pretty fast. In the dream i had no idea why i was running then i heard what sounded like a marathon approaching from behind. Surely enough i look behind and there's a massive load of people running up behind me until one of them (this rather slightly fat one in a suit) caught up and was trying to grab me. I looked into his eyes and they were black and melting along with his mouth while the rest of his face was pale. I woke up paralysed after that , but it didn't last long.

I had another two random dreams closer to waking up; one of Jack Black being in a movie about him having sex with a nun causing her to give birth to 18 children which he felt no emotional connection to. The end revealed that he planned to sail off in a boat with his wife but agent Self from Prison Break planted drugs on his boat. The final scene resulted in Jack Black weeping while looking at a billboard advertisement of a yaght to the piano from 'Synkro - Everybody Knows'. :|

I think the last one might have been triggered by an episode of the American Office i watched last night where Jack Black was randomly in this film featured on the episode where he fell in love with an old woman. :?

Yeah and the same goes for sleep walking and similar stuff, its good to be aware of.

This is a bit obvious but have you tried waking yourself up during a bad dream before?

And its strange how they look you in the eye and you wake up paralysed, these two events are commonly linked in my dreams.. Odd.

sometimes in the mornings i get stuck in my dream, like i become sort of aware and think i need to get out of bed because it's 12oclock or something, but i can't wake up. or if i do wake up it turns out i'm still dreaming. really annoying.

Yeah, i knew it was the case for sleepwalking atc. but i never thought about doing it during sleep paralysis haha. Now i just remind myself of what's going on in a rationalised way as to not panic so it doesn't last long. I've never before noticed the eye thing either up until now, i will have to see if it comes up again.

I've had this before. One i will always remember was a couple of years ago when i was in this really strange dream of being in this tall skyscraper/monorail station and after i 'thought' i woke up from that, i remember being on my bed in the exact same position as i fell asleep but i noticed the cuboard door in the wrong place right next to my bed, i thought it was weird but opened it and there were stairs in there that i fell down. After that i "woke up" in the same position and walked into the living room to tell people the weird dream i just had when i noticed the floor was flooded upto the top of my feet. Those are the two i remember but i'm sure i woke up into a couple more before i woke up for real.

I've gone a few days without smoking, and had a dream where someone in an exam hall told me:

"Anyone can give up smoking, but it takes real character to fight cancer"

Insane

Not feeling any benefits at all for being cigarette free... Even though I'm not desperate to smoke, seems kinda pointless like I've given up the only divisional tool of an unemployed day.

my dreams are like mad varied but are very boring and annoying sometime. like if i have to wake up at say 7, i might have a dream where my alarm went off at 7 i turned it off, went to sleep woek up at 8 and then jumped outta bed cos i was really late. when this happens i wake up really quick in real life and its like 5 in the morning or something :|

i can't remember a dream i've had for ages, though there was that one lucid dream i had after reading that thread in the hideout.
I basically put my mind to it, thought before i go to bed i'll really try to channel into it. It was so sick, i was in the park behind my old school jumping really high and flying over everyone. it didn't last long but it was so fun

best is waking up from an extremely good dream (usually sex related) and then thinking "I wasn't ready for that to end" and then returning to sleep and picking up from wherever you left off. I've returned to those sorts of dreams 3 or 4 times in one night. sick.

hahaha, sex dreams usually mean a lack of it in your waking life.

I never go back into the same dreams, last night my mate was fighting over a piece of fish from the chippy someone snatched off him.

I was floating round a room and 'Basil the Great, Mouse Detective' was on TV. The room then turned into a bar and loads of people were watching the film. One of them would make a joke and no one laughed at them and they all just stared at each other.

This morning (went to sleep at 7, woke up at 12, went back to sleep, woke back up at 2), I had a really interesting dream. I was living on the waterfront, and I somehow ended up being vilified for assaulting a neonazi woman. My (semi-lucid) dreams are on some paranoid shit.

I dreamed a young girl posted on my Soundcloud. I got her.

Night before that was about the huge steak I had for tea.

i was standing at a glass table at some convention. I was with my sister and brother. I began opening the shirts wrapped in plastic that I thought were mine, to my dismay, the last one I opened was my sister's yankee t shirt, I felt very sorry and almost cried. Next thing I remember I was in a sneaker store looking at some gay ass sneakers probably thanks to that shit ass "WHAT SNEAKERS U WARIN ******" thread. BTW I consider all sneakers as good as designed by a toy company like matel.
