Really?
I personally found it to have a nice grit in comparison to the normal Z3ta.

Nowaysj - The sine wave gets changed to a saw if I`m not mistaken.
When you select sine it shows a saw waveform.
Which means lots of the presets get altered with more grit.

This is all my opinion though.

How much effort is it really?
The download is tiny.
The install is minor.

You create 2 Z3ta folders.
One called Virus Z3ta and the other just left as the original z3ta.
Replace the waveforms and save a 2nd .dll called virus_zeta.

Load up your daw and check the 2 instances of Z3ta.
Load the virus z3ta and check the waveforms.
Load a sine and it will in fact be a saw waveform.

It`s a 2 minute exercise at most.
You might be very surprised at what you get.

Just a thought.

How many of you folks use the effects end of Z3ta?
Most people just use z3ta as a synth but ignore the effect side of it.
I find the effects to be very impressive while at the same time fully tweakable.

Create a synth sound with any synth and run it through z3ta to warp it as you wish.

I love z3ta , I use it mostly for subbass and pads , I've found the same thing with the filters not being all that but I just use a module from my DAW for filtering rather then the zeta filter ! But zeta is def a beast ! I'm gonna get that green skin looks sick

I think you need to demo each of those synths and then decide what's best for you. All these synths can do the same and you only 'need' one.

I've tried z3ta+ and the demo is awful it makes a rising noise for 5 seconds then all audio stops for 2 seconds and i cant seem to get the predator demo to work

If you want to hear what z3ta can do wobble wise check out a tune on my YouTube channel called gritty , all the synths after the drop are made with the vst in questions , if you can only get one I would personally suggest either z3ta or alchemy , z3ta is a very very sick synth tho !!

Nice, did it take ou long, i'm quite fond of massive after thr demo so ill get massive in the holidays and z4ta+ or circle now. ive got some nice basses in massive and circle but nothing that grimey its not the synth just my ability, i think just need to layer up my oscillators and try lots of different wwaveforms and octaves

The demo doesn't seem to work very well, is it just generally a bit fiddly or is it easy to use and the demo just happens to be awful

They need to just leave it at $20. It's not being developed, is a great deal and would probably give them more profit in the long run.
