OSX 10.6 supports up to something like 16TB, so yeah. It would be used for CPU intensive stuff like compiling code, rendering CG, gaming etc. so it's not completely overkill (just mostly). My complaint is that he paid about 3x too much for in buy having it pre-installed by Apple rather than doing it himself.

the point is, that 30grand studio thread was complete bullshit, one week he says hes overdrawn on his account and cant even afford a pot noodle, the next week hes got stocks, shares and 4grand hes saved since he was 16

like depone said it was most likely down to the fact he wanted help for college assignement
