FUCK. i know i shouldn't as it winds me up, but out of curiosity (possibly like looking at a car accident) I browsed the 'Dubstep' fan page on facebook (the one with +100,000) members. Amazingly the guy who runs it actually posted some Synkro, Phaeleh, Burial, Others (Splinter in my Soul).

And the comments....

'this isnt dubstep theres no drop'

'this is garage not dubstep' <-- this to the Others track

This kid I have a residency with literally will start posting "Free Bass! Only 5 days away" and essentially do that every fucking day. He also ALWAYS posts every one of our nights as [show happening on the weekend]'s pre-party. Ugh.

as for the posts like DIS IS ARD with videos of stupid remixes of lame songs,facebook really has a good option,it's called HIDE and it's magical...
