@mmplisskin - Really enjoying the atmospheres of this but not to keen on the midrange bass (u didn't go too overboard though so I can just about deal with it

) Think the percussion needs to be looked into, its too quiet and I think could do with using some different hits (thinking a rim click would work well). Good work on that buildup though from 2:14
@tripwire - Smooth minimal vibes man, quite euphoric in parts too and gets funked out once it drops. Like the percussion but get workin on those main beats now. Something I'd like to hear would be a fast hihat/shaker pickup to progress the tune (wrote this yesterday so thats for version 2... 4 sounding a lot crisper beats wise only had a quick listen cos gotta run now so will drop some feedback later)
@weedcali - Excellent atmospheres on this one my friend and really enjoying the flow of the beats. I'd say look into the bass for a bit of shaping but great stuff so far look forward to hearing it when its finished.
@Haack - Deep vibe once again! Killer fx + bass. Not much else to say than bit more percussion and maybe chuck in a bit of delay through some of it too.
So havn't upped anything new for a while but heres another kinda chilled track i've been working on with a mate over the past couple of weeks. Pretty much close to finished now I think but lookin for some feedback.

Nice ideas, but it seems to me that your automation is a little out on the synth.
Also try bringing down the volume on the wobble and increasing the emphasis on the kicks.
Sounds good though

Thanks man I knew the kicks and synth was lackey because my sound card sucks and i dont have the head phones right now

hey so here are my two cents. Its def dark and I like that you held out on the wobbles for a little while. I dont know if you did this on purpose but it seems to me that your one longer bass is dominant on my left speaker.... like noticeably so. Also the bass is dominating your mix a little bit but not too badly, and yes the kick needs a little more presence in the mix. Honestly its a better complete song right now than i am capable of producing. Also your synth effects are sounding pretty good.

Hey man this song has some great vibes and Im really digging its minimal subbyness! It kind of reminds me of like uberlounge airport music, the kind I would listen to after a brutal hangover! I think the mix is really fucking good too man I cant really spot anything i don't like.

@LP: Heavy on the drums, good drum programming here. The sax sample kept my attention amidst the layered atmosphere, goin to have a proper listen when I get back on main.
Cheers.

Gotta say I dig the smooth ambience almost tribal feel to this. The only thing I was anticipating was a drop or climax of sort but thats just me. Big Up's fella steppa keep it up.

@lp yea some real nice laid back vibes in this, the main pad/synth has a real sound to it, and yea i agree on the little sax part thats good keeps it interesting, also really like the shuffled percussion, i been trying to do that in some of my tracks, keep it up!
heres my track, just got this mix back from the engineer so should hopefully be sounding nice, let me know what you think! cheers

@tripwire22
Maybe make the kick a bit more clicky sounding. Otherwise it sounds fine. Have you tried putting the bpm's down for a bit? I think it could help drawing out the groove a bit more.
@Psythe
Sorry to say but soundwise I think its horrible. It sounds muddy, overly distorted, snare is barely come thru, and the kick isn't really solid sounding. Also try panning hour hats a bit.
@charliefoy
Its sounds a bit boring. Especially the Intro. Snare sounds a bit dry. I think changing up your hi-hat programming would be a nice thing to start with.
@lp
Sounds great. Can't think of any criticism.
@larspro
I think you should change the sub into a pure sine wave. I don't like the raspy sound of it. Next up for when your stuck. Try writing a part where you don't use that melodie. After that figure out a way to jump back and forward between them. It does the trick for me sometimes. While doing this, don't be afraid to go down a totally diffrent path.
@weedcali
Try adding a little break when your changing to a different bass sound. It adds to keep things more interesting. Also I think that if you try and make the bass follow your kicks a bit more it would add to the groove. The saw type woble thing sound a bit boring imo.
My turn now. Its kinda rough in general. For example I just noticed my sub is slightly distorting somehow and the automations aren't spot on yet. Basically I made a few paterns/loops and started turning knobs. Oh well, any feedback is appreciated

:edit
For some reason I get "this track is currently not available" thing on de forum. But when I click the link it works fine. So if your experiencing the same thing. Just click the link.

Cheers man

Im tryin to find my style really so i dont want a huge fat lfoing bassline to come in though haha. I was aiming for a chilled out dark sound, but ill work on that climax

I might shorten the intro abit too

@Charliefoy
Hehe I find these things kinda difficult say. Since I don't want to influence your track to much. There are a few things you could try tho. Try and find some short sounds. So you can add a bit more viaration and got some more input for playing around with the dealy and reverb (in general I think your snare could use a bit more reverb). Try to come up with some alternative hi-hat patterns (maybe even add diffrent ones). Shuffle them around and see what happens. Experiment with pads. Stuff like this.
