yeah like sadly most of the peeps say...BOTH!

depends on the tune...the last times i often used claps but for my heavy ones hard ass smashin snares were pretty good

but im always into unique soundin ones...no matter of snare of clap!

At the moment mainly woodblocks and claps not really writing anything that calls for a big overbearing snare

Snares,rims,etc.I'm not really a clap man,sometimes i'll layer a clap in there though.

i think snares should slap hard and leave a mark
