I would try and veer this thread back on topic, but I think it's all been said. Layering/sample choice, compression and eq be the order of the day.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the history of the mean beat samples. Are there different versions/packs? Who put these together.

Get your official DSF Mt Eden punching bag lol. I kinda feel bad for the kid tbh. People on the dubs section have been making as bad if not worse remixes of good tunes before he even knew what dubstep was. Only thing he did wrong is get a shit ton of looks on youtube apparently. I might hire him to run the Savory Audio marketing department tbh.

Just my personal opinion but what would be nice in that is some ride hits in the background when it drops - nothing too heavy, just a light ride hit mixed in fairly low, and with a fair amount of reverb. That will make it feel more alive I think, otherwise good job man! sounds tight!
