Bliss was always my favorite by him. When he first started releasing tracks, i think he was original enough sounding. There wasn't THAT much filth like this out when he first started releasing. I don't like ALL of his tracks but it's basically music to lose your mind to while you're rolling balls... or just really high lol
shit sounds crazy on a big system

Same here, actually I am not that much into any type of mashup style remix and I don't care for Cookie Monster unless you are talking about the puppet on Sesame Street so I am going to have to vote this one down.

this tunes actually pretty beefy! this is what i dont understand though, people come up with a good sounding bass synth and whack it over an unimaginative halfstep drum beat. I've said it many times before and ill say it again... PERCUSSION PEOPLE!!

While I completely agree with you, in this exact instance you wouldn't want drums that are too busy, or else they'd crowd the main synth and its stuttering textures.

I wouldnt feel too bad for him. His myspace has got 400,000 hits on which is a lot more than a lot of deep/ roots/ "credible" dubstep artists. Hes probably gonna sell a shit load records at circus to his student type fanbase, and dj to packed out nights a lot of the time. Im sure hes doing just fine. All he has to do is not come on here and see his name dragged through filth

If you listen carefully, the wobble has a catchy little melody.
It's a bit mind warping with pop going dubstep and all. So this is what it feels like. I was too young to watch it happen to hip hop or (haha) rock and roll.
Not hating on this, just hate the vocal and the lyrics, even though I usually like some slackness in my track.

Pathetic that people have to justify why they listen to Cookie Monsta, can you not just like it because you like it?!

I thought all the tracks posted in this thread were pretty listenable ..
The first track (posted by OP) Being the best, though it sounded like some crazy Skrillex type madness ;D, I can listen to Skrillex though .
Stop discussing music in this way, listen to what you want..
I'm not going to listen to something because you some one else says it's sh*, because then I will just be bored, and sad.. Listening to what they want me to.

Frontline was definitely the stand out track on that Maryland Chocolate Chip mix (which was definitely a newer sound at the time)
Big up Cookie Monsta, do what you do mayne

yeah thats true, but maybe just have the percussion on an off beat once in a while or something like that?
