yes mate dubbstep in essex is taking off bigtime if u get the right headliners and the right local talent it cant fail iv been at subzero in colchester uni with nuclear playing with nero and it was sold out 1200 people one of the best nights of the year mate its was big iv also seen chase and status and nero at talk and it went off both times people love it proberly coz its fresh still thats gonna be a good night for real got m1 and nuclear plus the rest of us promting down here trust me its going off .....peace yod

I live in Ilford but haven't been to any nights out in deep Essex. I always prefer going into London because of the transport links and, well, it's London, but then again if there was a big night going down I'm sure we'd consider heading east

I'd be interested in helping out with a dubstep night in Essex. There's def a gap in the market for this genre of music there. I don't live in Essex. I Live in Bow but I work in an electrical/gaming store in the Liberty shopping centre in Romford and people are calling out for dubstep nights so I think with the right promotion, people, venue this could take off. I'm a female dj just starting out. Am currently djjing bars in London and would like to dj in Romford if we ever got a night going. Let's make it happen!! : )

Well I heard there's a new bar opened in romford we want to check out with a funktion one sound system. myself and fused forces who are from romford are going to look into hiring for a thursday night bash if the venue is any good. We put up more info when we know ourselves

Not from Essex but live in Ipswich, 20 drive mins from Colchester, like 35-40 from Chelmsford. I'm running the last standing dub event in Ipswich, we get a good crowd but as its a freebie we struggle to get people from out of town as we can never afford serious headliners. Having said that we've had Fused Forces, Whistla & T_! all pass through this year so not bad at all. I do get out and about a bit but only just cottoned on to this night at Barhouse, if I'd have know Roska & James Blake we're there I'd have been down like a shot! Hopefully gonna make it down to Southend before Xmas, can't to this month as I'm playing in town, if any of you guys wanna do some cross promo, send each other flyers etc just give me a shout.
