Basic A: Love the sounds.. I think with some more going on you could have a huge tune!!

Nowaysj: I wasn't feeling the vibe at first but after it got going i enjoyed it.. even better the second listen.
imo.. Basic had better quality and Noways musicality. It all comes down to which track i would enjoy listening to more.. and my vote went to Noways.. But, in all honesty, i think if Basic took more time and made it more interesting he probably would've won!

i thought noways' track was a lot more creative, sonically interesting, evolving, and original. and fuck you haters, those stabs are dark as all hell (but way too loud in the mix) much respect for bringing the weirdness and not just making some shiny produced wobs

basic....i thought your track was pretty decent but just wasn't doing much for me. if you really only spent an hour on it, weren't using a familiar daw and samples: it shows. the thing that i dont get is that considering these odds, it doesn't sound too far off from the stuff you put out as finished tracks? the bass was pretty hairy, but overall the lack of progression really makes this a bit boring and anticlimactic musically. i dig that crash cymbal, and the production seems pretty solid, i just dont really see where you've brought anything new or fresh or unique to the table with this in it's current state. i know this is a wip, so prove me wrong!
