i really don't know how common it is to plant hecklers in the audience. maybe Zach does but most comics I know don't. the Brendon Burns one is obviously part of the show. seems like a hack move though, and most comics don't travel with professional hecklers.
Yeah it is looked down upon by some I'm sure, but it's around. I'm sure more are real than fake, I meant mostly the guys who have weekly spots at clubs. Sarah Silverman used to use a plant for some bits, but later he got pretty well known for playing one of the guys on her show.

that's interesting, i've just never really seen it. respect to Sarah tho, she is no fucking hack.

just watched it, he seemed a little bit stumped for comebacks with that but still joke wen everyone bottles him at the end!
