Oh I see... so when you're listening to non-dubstep music (i.e. Electro) the MC pisses you off....borrowed wrote:steshine wrote:I gain more and more detest for 90% of the users on this forum as each day passes.
Well the problem is that on sick tracks like Borgore's Ice Cream or Doctor P's "sweet shop" (dunno if you've heard that before) that you can't hear the midrange or squee sounds thanks to some asshole mc.

can you really ask why are there mcs on pirate radio and not have your head explode?

no but i stopped by your mother's place yesterday and she made my one eyed viper explode, so bizarre...
exactly. lots of these 'mc's' are just hosting the show anyway, they're not proper mc's. they make the show more enjoyable in my opinion. without them, how could ticket competitions be held? or how would we find out the track IDs? or how would you ask them to big up your mate or whatever?human? wrote:er98ah wrote:human? wrote:did you start listening to radio yesterday?

im being serious. have you ever listened to any UK pirate radio before you started streaming rinse online last week?
i mean, has the last 20+ years of 'nuum pirate radio just escaped your attention entirely?
its a bizarre question to ask. not my fault you came here flexing your ignorance... you dont like it? so what, thats what studio mixes are for... asking for london pirate radio without MCs is absurd.
omfg you just did a 'your mom' joke on a forum?er98ah wrote:human? wrote:did you start listening to radio yesterday?

I've got no problem with that.
A purely instrumental radio show would be boring. Besides, if you want an uninterrupted mix there are plenty of mix CD's in the market, let alone mixcloud sets etc etcer98ah wrote:i do understand the basis for the mc'ing on the sets, but i would say that for the most part, people are listening cause they want to hear the music. In my opinion, having someone scream on a mic every 15 seconds is unnecessary and annoying.
According to this thread, I am the only person whom thinks this way, and how can one be so ignorant to even propose that the mc'ing on Rinse is a bit too much?

dubstep.fm for one... i basically have a no-mc policy.... subfm has some decent shows as well that dont have mc's.. and im pretty sure hivemind.fm does as well...borrowed wrote:dopelabs wrote:plenty of other stations that DONT have mc's to choose from...
