was there no issue of the tents getting too hot to sleep in during the day???

Don't think priority IS money making. Priority is a perfect festival. Money naturally follows. It's not a charity... it's a business. After 3 years of either losing money or breaking even, I think the guys deserve a nice pay cheque.. they put a hell of a lot of work in!

There are plenty of trees around for shade on your tent and you can always sleep outside. It's not oppressivly hot at the start of September anyway. It was really no issue for me... but I can sleep anywhere!

Is it definitely going to be 18+ next year?
I can understand why you'd want it to be 18+ to keep the wanky teenagers out but seriously there are plenty of nice teenagers too.

How hard would it be to get in with a fake ID etc? I'm going to be 2 months of 18 at festival time!
Know a few others from the forum who will be under 18 and up for going...

I don't know how the bars and that are organised but at most festivals in the UK anyone can go, you just get ID'd at the bars. Did i read somewhere that there is a token system at the bars or something?

Anyway, a friend of mine that went last year when she was 17 said that she got in no problem so it's onnnnnnnnnnnn.

IDs were not checked at the bars.

It's Croatia, and they're all foreigners.. I don't really think any of them give a fuck about checking ID's

But the masses really do ruin it for the individuals that aren't complete chav'd out pricks that are complete wankers on and off the dancefloor.

Yes, camping was and will be good. Tents are more expensive to buy in Croatia than in the UK.

Advance tickets? That's tickets you buy in advance of, before, the Festival as opposed to tickets you buy at the gates of the Festival itself.

I got a tent, sleeping bag and mattress from Argos for £15!!! I then gave it to the Slovenians who gave me a lift to Ljubliana airport :)

Everyone I know who stayed in an apartment at Outlook regretted it... half the fun of the festival is the beach/campsite vibe.

I stayed in an Apartment and definitely didn't regret. Would of been nicer to be closer but you know. All the people I met who were camping said it was fucking freezing on the night and they slept like shit since everywhere is buzzing til the very, very early hours.

Still, going next year and think an apartment is in order still!! Don't miss out on anything and I get my own bathroom, shower, kitchen and double bed! :W:

this.
i camped and vibes were generally good but people (and the beach stage) started blasting bass early enough that i never got good sleep. showers and campsite weren't bad by any means but defo going for hostel or apartment if i go again this year.

why would you go to a festival in a foreign country to sleep and shit in comfort

what does being in a foreign country have to do with it?
in fact i'd argue that staying in an apartment for outlook would offer more croatian immersion. proximity to pula (most festival campers didn't leave the festival site once from what i saw), independent days to explore the surrounding area, more interaction with locals rather than the 95% UK camping crowd....

camping ftw!
If you want to be totally immersed in the festival then camping is by far the best way. true you may feel like your going mad after four days of bass from the beach but it is so worth it. Showers and facilities at the campsite are really good some nice little shops on there as well.
Never felt it was too cold at night but it did get very hot at around 9 if you were not in the shade but then you just crawl out of your tent and fall asleep again :)

yeah if you are not a good sleeper then maybe camping is not so good. I was so pissed every night that I could have slept through nuclear war!

I am gonna drive next year and make a 2 week holiday out of it, and explore the dalmation coast :)
