FWIW Would say it's more similar (in effect) to salvinorum A, even though it's worlds apart structurally... Also DMT kinda seems to have a 'capacity/threshold' and also tolerance (mainly short term, bummer for really chasing elf land), dunno, salvia experiences seem the complete opposite and almost limitless. If it was Drugliest Warrior (like deadliest warrior but with drugs) I reckon salvia would come out tops for 'brain bending jungle drug". A BRAIN-bending jungle drug is set to become a bigger menace than crystal meth on Britain's streets, it was feared last night.

Border guards have intercepted a record £13million haul of DMT - a powerful hallucinogen used by Amazon tribes.

Smokers of the crystals almost immediately suffer intense and often terrifying visions.

Side-effects include paranoia and flashbacks weeks or months later.

The Class-A drug has also been linked to schizophrenia.

It is feared smugglers are now trying to flood the UK - as they have in recent years with deadly methamphetamine, also known as crystal meth.

A senior police source said: "We've never seen quantities of DMT like this. This is clearly the latest drug trend. Dealers have seen big money to be made here."

The UK Border Agency recently intercepted 126 kilos of DMT being smuggled into Britain in 15 parcels from Brazil and Peru. Five found at the postal depot at Coventry Airport were heading for London.

Amazonian spiritual healers have traditionally used vines naturally containing DMT to make sacred brews, which they claim help users experience the afterlife.

acid is def. different from shrooms. shrooms are different from dmt and dmt is different from acid.

Iv never tried dmt, but people I know whove done it and times Ive seen them do it seems like some sort of out of body experience type thing, like complete ego loss, floating around in a white void talking to space critters shinanigans? Or have I got it a bit twisted there? If it is then thats a lot different to my personal experience of acid, a hell of a lot different. Ive seen people just completely go in on themselves on acid and become almost completely unresponsive, lost in their head, but its a rare thing and doesnt seem to be related to dose, more to the person. I girl I semi dated for a while went like that both times she did acid when I was there, but she had eaten half a tab where me and a few other people had eaten 10/12 each and despite a few bumbled words and wild ideas coming out now and then we were all very much in the room, still ourselves, patterns and loops, but no elves in space.

What kind of doses are you talking about here? Because I honestly cant picture acid ever getting that far before Id have a heart attack.

you take lots of acid, and you have certain types of experiences and those types of experiences are related to the types of experiences people have on small doses of dmt. if you take large doses of dmt, it is far more intense than most lsd experiences, but it is the same ballpark.

it sounds a bit too much for me I recon, twisted reality I can deal with, alternate reality Im not so sure. I used to be a soldier for acid and mushrooms in my youth but Im too much of an old man these days. Every couple of years I binge on lsd to excess for a few weeks then spend the next year thinking christ, that was fun but Im in no rush to do it again any time soon.

well it does have a reverse tolerance...read a shulgin article a while ago talking about salvia and how nutty it is chemically.

Can't we all, like, just.. like, you know, accept that perhaps all people are different with different brains and different personalities and different perceptions and likely all react to drugs... differently?

Shrooms and MDMA are a WORLD of difference to me. My best friend experienced pretty similar things on both drugs. You're not seeing us fight about how similar/dissimilar they are.
