this last ones a bit before jungle but it's the first rave tune i'd ever heard when i was eleven. i swear i flipped out and used to buzz like fuck off this tune a while before i started getting high :o

(of course the cut-up was actually done on the Meat Beat Manifesto beat that this samples, but this was the first to apply it in the hardcore context)

After jungle he was very involved in UK Garage as Mark 'Ruff' Ryder - that wasn't really my thing, so I couldn't tell you how good the tunes were.

Jungle may actually may my favorite thing ^_^ the most energy, fantastic rythmes, just pure goodness. Thanks whoever mentioned Photek, and Source Direct. Remarc's also awesome. Hell most of it is awesome.

Hackney Hardcore were fucking awesome! Mark Ryder was a legend, Strictly Underground/Jungle Mania Records released some of the best tunes of all time.

Shame some of the Jungle Mania's never got pressed. Lost gold.
