big up deaps it's hard to understand why rinse would be so disrespectful to you when you've done so much to get their name spread around the world and in the process attract many more listeners to the station
it's a sad day no more rinse for me

I'd like to hear an Ammunition/Rinse word for this, but even without that, all my support and encouragement to Deapoh, no matter how many nights/labels/stuff Ammuntion runs, Deapoh has done more for the expansion of the scene than they can ever do. International crew will never be able to tell you how much you've done, big up!

Good on deapoh for coming out with this...can't wait for the return of barefiles, been sorely missed.

Big ups the one like Deapoh for holdin it down and spreading the dubstep gospel to all points of the compass.
It's pretty ridiculous that they would try to monopolize like that, and shaft you for all your hard work.
I can't wait to see what the new site brings!

Since Deaps told me about this I stopped listening to everyone apart from Heny and I aint been FWD (not just because of this also becuase its gotten boring as hell) and trying not to buy any more Tempa releases.
I just dont see how they think they; a) own someone elses music, and b) can control who the DJ's do mixes for.
Im so glad he's come out and said all this, its been months and he's just sat on it. Im sure there is alot more to it all but Deaps is just too nice to expose all their bullshit antics.

man this is insane... d/ling my first set from barefiles got me and countless others hooked on the sound. there have been so many people talk to me about losing touch with whats happening musically primarily because barefiles has been out of action.
you ain't wasted any of your time man, and you weren't voted souljah of the year for nothing

big ups deaps, looking forward to seeing the new site!

I'm just getting into the scene, but as people have said, if Barefiles brought so much attention to Rinse, why the hell are Rinse shutting them off? Exceedingly lame and shows they don't always know what's up.

i think they want to host mixes themselves

i don't think hosting some mixes and having barefiles as well are totally incompatible.

Of course they do, and they will charge for them too. But its been 2 months since barefiles has been down, and STILL no mixes from Rinse FM themselves. Probably cant figure out how to turn the computer on without Deaps.

That statement in isolation seems fairly innocuous, but it's the way Deapoh has been treated in all of this that's bothering everyone.
As sodium nightlife said, barefiles hosting is not incompatible with rinse, and the underlying issue is with ammunition attempting to lock everything down.
It has nothing to do with the music, this is a business strategy on their part..
More music, less business. IMO.
