Music isnt just sub bass deep stuff.. music is whatever you want it to be... i believe that skrilliex is musically talented no matter what anybody says.. how ISNT this musical? theres melodies (good ones)... chord progression (good one)... the vocal chops are good... the song structure is good... all the people hating because of his rise to fame (i suppose you could say) so quickly is stupid, hes musically talented, deadmau5 offered him a contract or whatever... if he offered me a contract im pretty damn sure i would sign, doing music for a living is something we all would love to do and obviously joining that label would fulfill that dream.

Just because its not the kind of music you like, does not mean theres 'nothing musical about it'... look at gabba music.... its MUSIC yes.. i hate it, but it is MUSIC

I don't think it's so much the choice of what sounds are being queried that gets people's backs up, but the frequency of the requests. It could be the most amazing sound in the world, but if there were multiple posts per week asking how it was made, people would still get just as riled.

Instead of turning them into mega threads, why not refer them to the midrange bass sticky?

one of two signed local heads playing dubstep opening for twisted individual (one of my jump up dnb gods and a nice guy)
need to bum a cig outside
guy in run dmc dub step shirt
get a smoke and light and start chatting with him and buddy
turns out hes a mt eden fan and obvious youtuber
from same city has no clue who me or other actual signed heads are, was outside for my whole set because it was too varied and not enough "filth"
