the way i see it, the labels are easily identifiable.

i can see the idea not being popular but if it helps some folks navigate through the section easier i'm all for it. because it sucks that people don't bother going there b/c they have to meander through a maze of brostep just to find songs they like. i spent a bit of time yesterday tracking down tunes i enjoyed. they're definitely there. just sucks that nobody pays attention to some of these mans because the entire section has a bad reputation.

but like i said, when the good aggressive tunes get buried in the brostep subforum....i'd be sad.

so i don't know.

or alternatively, have a stickied thread labelled "non brostep"...and then you can funnel all those tunes into one place. not that there aint shit "non-brostep"

Lol I felt a bit harsh using the word bitch so I edited my post, I'm not sure who it was but they made a thread called "Hate" and they were bitching about all the hostility in the scene.

I mean, it's one thing to not personally approve of hatin' and thus to not engage in it yourself, but I hate when people try to project their moral sense onto others. Especially when it comes to having a harmless (albeit purposefully hyperbolic and incendiary) opinion about something. We're not talking about racism or some shit here.

As you said it yourself, hate if you'd like to. I don't think people understand the concept that it's OK to not like someone, their music or whatever they choose to do with themselves. However, it seems that those same people also miss the fact that there's a very adult and productive way to dish out criticism

The thread you guys refer to was in connection with the fact that I'd heard that an european DJ had been threatened by a person who had this intense hate for him ( having never met or spoken to him). You see where I am coming from? Even shit talking is harmless, it's just words. But when fans start developing this crazy / rabid hate for an artist due to the simple fact that they hate their music, then it gets scary.
