basically, the dude who left that voice mail runs a label. the guy who received that voicemail is a producer who had a song or two picked up by that label. the song(s) were sold, but the producer received no payments. they are in fact still being sold.

the producer ended up airing him out in a massive thread on dsf perhaps last year or the year before. the guy who runs the label got pissed off and left him that voice mail.

he deserves to get beat the fuck down. people are struggling to get on labels as it is (not everyone obviously), and this man is taking advantage of producers and not compensating them.

no it was he released songs that weren't even officially signed to his label, the artists wanted them removed from sale, never happened (hell i think they're still for sale) the guy who got the voicemail was trying to start up a class action lawsuit by the people involved
