not strictly dubstep or even a producer but as a dj
rich reason, I saw him dj at whp in manchester on 3 separate occasions and smashed it to peices all 3 times, best bit was he wasnt solely about dubstep it was just his timing that made it immense, dropping 'hip hop' out of nowhere then ramming it home with records on my wall (which sounds 100000000x better played out than on a cd)

(Cosmin) TRG.
All the way man. From Dubstep before (Hessle, Subway, Hotflush, Soul Motive...) to more housy 120-130 stuff right now on Reduction, Monkeytown and Tempa... This guy is seriously underrated.

haha how can you possibly call the Widdler terrible?!! Phaeleh for sure. Although with the latest album out and forthcoming on Skream's label, can you really say he isn't making it right now?...

Area_Recordings wrote:How do you decide if someone is underrated or not? What is your opinion based on and what factors do you think make them become rated or infact overrated?
I think I'm unsuprised that this hasn't been answered. "Underrated" is as likely to mean under exposed as not rated by enough people or whatever. It's a highly subjective measure that's not going to be agreed especially on a forum where the people commenting will likely have been exposed to a vast array of producers.
