im all for it, its not new but its PERSONALITY. not everything has to be judged with a critics eye firmly pointing out that in fact 'being a little bit crazy has been done before.... try something new'. that attitude pisses me off more than the people who fake it.

well i disagree in saying its forced, i think some people are just like that, punk was the same 30years ago, and people are like that anyway in most scenes- it just happens that people with those personalities are more likely to go down that performance/exhibitionist route and more likely to be picked up (by public/label/media etc.)

i agree with the fan bit though, as i said, i dislike the fakeness that comes with some people who're into this stuff too.

Tyler just reminds me of one of the kids at school who tries to be cool by doing "weird" things.
