Most of his high pitched stuff just sounds like a sine wave, and a bunch of distortion. Generally sine waves will give you a nice high pitched squeal on higher octaves, and with the right amount of distortion and whatever else you can figure out, you can get similar results.

guys, what the fuck?
what
the
fuck???
man's asking for presets, offering presets in exchange, other guy gives him presets -> he hopefully returns the favor. some other guys discuss other sounds and offer presets/advice whatever. sounds like a nice thread eh?
but for some reason EVERYONE here has to go and say "oooh man youre so lazy" "boo presets suuuck" "duuuude do your *own* thing" or whatever. this is gettin' ridiculous! the ONLY standard response that would've been appropriate here is "use the 'how do i make this sound' thread", but honestly that thread is fucked on so many levels it makes me cry.
if someone asks a question and you know the answer, then answer. if you dont want to, ok let it be.
but this whole "fuck you for asking, oh and it's [enter magical shit advice that might be right but doesn't help at all here]" isn't helping anyone, except your ego. if you don't know the answer for sure then don't act like it, and especially don't say stuff that's so vague that it's not helping anyone but allows you to go "YOU CANT PROVE ME WRONG!!!111!1"

Gotta agree with rant, actually I think it's good to try to recreate sounds other artists have made to get some more insight in how those sounds work. Personally I wouldn't go as far as trading sounds up, I'd just keep experimenting and reading about it and eventually you'll get a somewhat similar sound. But a patch another person has made can help you get ideas from another angle. I also bet he won't be using the exact patches people give him...
Chill the fuck out, if you'd play in a band, first thing you do is cover other bands' shit no?

NO YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO! Also, don't you dare use a solid state amp or any digitech or boss distortion pedals, build your own damn pedals!!! *sarcasm*

make inital sound
secondary sound ring mod mod osc in extreme range (like 50.00)
you have to balance the amps on both oscs to get it like doctor p
i came across it accidentally with one of my bro/robo massive patches trying to mess with diff auromation lanes that i were hoping for simple on/off or bypass
rarely use massive too

Lol all these discussions that come with high pitched lead synths like doc p's are kind of cool to read.
I guess everyone has his or her own opinion about asking for other peoples presets or sounds...
Its true that you really shouldn't try to be another Doctor P by using his synths or the same sounds but I guess if you're interested in sound design with for example massive that its possible that you might want to know how sounds like doc p's are made in order to understand more how synths (or some call it noise in this case) are made.
Experimented alot with this sound too just out of curiosity, but I became quite bored by it,
I'd rather have my own sound that everyone can hate me about then stealing others sounds right.
My point is, don't hate this guy for asking help on how to make certain synths,
if he just makes tracks by copying these synths then you can hate him I guess ^^
And in my opinion its true what reignz wrote! Covering is a nice way to learn, just don't make your tracks based on covers!

learning a sound is good as long as you don't use it to be generic
op wanting presets is just that
honestly breaking down these sounds aint hard, but when it's a trend/lazy mofos just wanting to cash in on a style or sound i have an issue
if you want to learn genuinely help

Haha I was ready for this flaming and I really don't care.
I'd like to not piss people off but at the end of the day I have my preset [ish].
It makes me wonder whether I should now give out my own presets... Ofcourse I will be doing because I'm not going to go back on my word, but untill people can
resist pickng apart every scentence of this thread to find something to flame about then I doubt I'll be doing it again anytime soon.
A little bit of love for the bro's wouldn't go amiss... I mean, how often do you see a 'brostep' fan telling a DMZ fan that their music sucks?
Also, I have no real beef with Jaydot I'd just really like a tune battle with him.
Someone raised the point that I want to be reputable yet ask for Doctor Pee Pee presets.
Yep, that's very true but I was at my wits end yesturday, so I turned here for help, is that so bad?
Presets up here this afternoon.

No, You do it too, but you're not the exact same person with just a wee more natural musical ability. Danny would BE Jaydot in slightly different circumstances I'm sure.
What do you mean 'BE'?

I have made hundreds in the process of trying to make the Doctor P lead.

HEY OP...
OSC1 - SINE WAVE - FORMANT - DETUNE ≈2C - WT POSITION 50% - INTENSITY 100% - AMP 100% ------> FILTER1
OSC2 - POLYSAW 1 - FORMANT - DETUNE ≈5C - WT POSITION 100% - INTENSITY ≈70% - AMP 100% ------> FILTER1
OSC3 - SQU SAW2 - FORMANT - DETUNE ≈13C - WT POSITION 100% - INTENSITY 50% - AMP 100% ------> FILTER2
>F2 50/50 (BETWEEN SERIES AND PARALLEL)
INSERT1 - BIT CRUSHER - DRY/WET 100% - CRUSH 50%
INSERT2 - BIT CRUSHER - DRY/WET 100% - CRUSH ≈33%
ENVELOPE 4 - ATTACK ALL THE WAY DOWN - LEVEL ALL THE WAY UP
LFO 5 - RATE ALL THE WAY DOWN - DRAG MACRO1 IN; PUT IT ALL THE WAY UP
.........CURVE1 - TRIANGLE UNI
.........CURVE 2 - SINE WAVE; SHIFTED TO THE RIGHT (SO THE BOTTOM OF THE CURVE IS THE ALL THE WAY TO THE LEFT)
.........XFADE - 50%
.........INT. ENVELOPE - ATTACK ALL THE WAY DOWN - DECAY ALL THE WAY UP
FX1 - SMALL REVERB - DRY/WET 100% - SIZE 50% - DENSITY 50% - COLOR 50%
FX2 - DIMENSION EXPANDER - DRY/WET 100% - SIZE ≈70%
EQ - LOW SHELF 100% - BOOST 100% - FREQ. ≈53% - HIGH SHELF 50%
.....than set marco1 to a very high rate and you should be OK. once you apply the sounds in your DAW, EQ the shit out of it and get rid of some of the noise. lol

I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting presets to a sound you don't know how to make. At the very least you can take that and gain some understanding of a particular sound, which always opens new doors for you, production wise. Go back to the first time you figured out how to make a proper wobble, as simple as it was, it opened a lot of doors for advancement in the sound you want to make.
However, this forum is going to be extremely biased to people asking for this stuff because of all the, "how do I sound like datsik and excision" people that pop up and just obviously want to completely copy the sound and try to use it to get popular. Not to mention that the majority of those people probably just now downloaded a cracked version of some random DAW they know nothing about, and have absolutely no knowledge of production of any kind. I understand people's anger and disposition towards anyone asking, but maybe as a forum we can all just agree that it's inevitable and maybe it really is a waste of time to flame out these posts. If you have some suggestions on how to do it, then post it if you think it will help, but lets just refrain from wasting time flaming these people. I mean if you really think about it....what exactly is the flaming going to do? If someone wants it they will continue to ask and no random person on the internet is going to make them change their mind about that. All it does is create an outlet for those who get mad at the flamers for flaming, and then the flamers get mad at the people defending the posts and it just turns into this. A 3 page thread where 75% of the posts are either someone bitching at the OP or someone bitching at someone for bitching at the OP, or just 2 people bitching at each other just to bitch. I think if we all just stopped being bitches things would be a bit simpler.

I like these threads. it sometimes gives me the challenge as a producer to see if i can get close to a sound. sometimes it's hard to push yourself the same way.
I was able to get what i want from the Doctor P/ Flux Pavilion (and now Skrillex) sound, and because of it plus i dont mind helping anyone out seeing as there'll be times when i wouldnt mind a bit of help in return, and sure why not..
also, Fuck genres i just love making interesting badass sounds.

Can you not just sample the clean synth from Flux Pavilions Sweet Shop remix from the drop (no other instruments are present at that point)? Wack it into a sampler and bosh!

wouldnt ya rather have some longevity in your own abilities?
if one person can make a sound then so can another so why not give it a try. you'll be a better producer for it in time and that's even if you use a preset or 2 along the way.

I'm not after the sound, just saying, that If someone really wants the sound, they can resample it and then fx from that.
