Hmmm. This is why I had huge dilemma trying to put a genre to the music we put out as everyone seems to call what we put out as "not dubstep" as dubstep is formally known as what the OP has put up.

But then I realised, I should define it as Dubstep and I mean although we're small fish, with labels like us, 20 Twelve, L2S, EchoDub and more, we can flood the scene with more... intelligent electronic music and change these hippys minds!

I was just thinking though how many youtube hits for people like Mt. Eden come via DSF? Skrillex/Borgore etc. might be getting so much exposure from people who hate them in this place.

you raise a good point, but the hate views are a very small percentage... skrillex gets exposure from being on a WMG label which he got from previous fame, mt eden just did remixes and proper tagging (including putting the word dubstep in their video titles)... borgore is, well, borgore.

I don't really like Borgore, but I can't stress the fact that his sets are pretty fucking good. When we brought him, he was throwin down Von D and shit for a lot of it.
