I wholeheartedly agree with this... being someone that likes all aspects of dubstep, including the harder stuff, I think Chronos are a fucking joke they haven't had a single release that doesn't sound like it's been produced in <5 minutes. Was deinately a WTF moment seeing them on the nominees list.

Well I got a lot stick over this in the beginning, but after a long day of missing train and poo falling from birds, we're really honoured to have even been nominated as we ARE only 2 months old and it's an achievement to have been nominated and to have been given this much exposure.
We push deep Dubstep and aim to carry on doing so.
We will probably get 8th or 9th, but that's still good for us.
@ Ashley - Sorry, they moaned at you? They just messaged you and whined at you? I don't get why they would just do that randomly?

Fair enough actually.
To be honest, if people big you up or play you out or support you, it's because they genuinely respect you.
There is an amount of asking about that needs to be done, but there is a limit too.

i agree, compare excision or reso to any chronos tune and it's laughable...

But if you look at the voting (and I know it isn't the end of the world) but you can see they have a decent following of people which respect what they're putting out.
It's just odd for me.

wut? to me the bitcrushed/formant sounds sound wimpy and out of place
i mean, i like Bar9's Piano Tune but he finds a way to make the yoys actually sound filthy

nah i haven't actually, just tried to search for it but can't find any decent audio. i'm just saying this on what i've heard from him so far. the stuff i've heard doesn't really do anything for me, i like air & lack thereof but a lot of his other stuff just seems pretty boring and doesn't go anywhere
