If the record fits my sound as a DJ, I'm adding it to the box.

Well, Excision's two tunes, That Girl and Too Late aren't bad imo.

Brostep is a novelty that's starting to wear off (i hope). I don't seem to be exposed to as much as I used to.
I wish that was true. Last Friday I saw Komonazmuk play along with Jakes and Mensah. I wouldn't describe any of the stuff I've heard from Komonazmuk as "Brostep" (I'm talking Bad Apple, VCO, Dance Too). I was subjected to a whole night of midrange tomfoolery.
Now, this night was supposed to happen in December in a much smaller club (The Other Rooms) but was shifted to Newcastle's superclub, Digital. As a rule, I have had better nights at The Other Rooms than Digital, so I was already pissed off that it had been moved. I suppose it
was a HENCH night and they are a bit closer to this sound but even their releases aren't exclusively "Brostep".
So I don't know if it was the fact that it was Digital or that it was HENCH, but I can't agree with you that it's wearing off.
