do people not reason that a lot of the hype that you're complaining about with these artists is created by the very people complaining about the hype being there

first it was borgore, then it was mt eden, and now it's skrillex. i'd never even heard of any of these until seeing all the bitching thread on here. most people's reaction to seeing these threads is to check a youtube link and i'd wager thousands of hits are gained that way, which feeds into their popularity

it's just a self-perpetuating cycle of shit. it's the forum equivalent of being shat on by a passing bird, and then scooping it up, eating it and shitting it back out on the pavement for a curious passer by to find who for some inexplicable reason instead of ignoring it and walking by feels to need get involved in the shit cycle too
