erm.
cant actually decide, red doesnt have any sub bass, and that melody in the blue one is laughable.

i think red wins though.

cool how you got the colours on the sounclouds.
This is the worst post I've ever read from you. Time to buy a sub, bruv.
seems hes right... in a way.
all the sub is in the kick.

i really like the bass & pace of BLUE... the melody fucks it fo me
i like the mid bass style of RED... but the excessive presence & lack off a sub bass pushing it, ruin it.

neither shines above the other, & I find it too hard to choose between em....
so I am not voting!!

It is not fair to for either, both are decent.

I dunno, I could be, I'm not exactly sober so I'm not too bothered, big ups on your track though. Have I missed something? Like no offense but were you trolling or what at first?
He wasn't really trolling, he posted a decent little technique. Its just that he did it very obnoxiously and with a very arrogant attitude towards other members of this board and their music. Hopefully IF he loses this he will change his attitude and decide to contribute to this forum in a more constructive way.

Both tracks were struggling to be honest I went blue because excepting that awful plinky melody, it's a fuller warmer and essentially more atmospheric track. Red's main synth lead is fucking irritating and the tune sounds flat. And please don't tell me to 'get a sub'. chumps.

Agreed.

I don't understand how anyone who knows anything about production OR music could vote for it over red O.O
i relistened twice to both , do not get this red hyping at all. i admit the drum samples used in blue let it down a lot, but red is a worse track just polished. stand fully by blue here
But when the main crux of this battle started because some dude claimed he was a don, with two EQs, production value goes a long way, no?

That said, This Keb guy ain't too bad. Gotta admire his one-man stand against pretentious wankers.
Ouch man, I hardly even said anything to provoke this haha, He made a crack at my sig tracks and Mortal called it, the only thing I ended up getting to do was kindof defend myself before this started.
Nah, wern't aimed at you or anything that's been said on the production boards, mate :corndance:

I use two EQs from time to time, however I am using one where I could be using a filter

Blue tune: wow those tinkly melodies suck, im sorry man but really they sound terrible and out of place.

Red tune: blows the other one out of the water! I know who did this one ;D. everything about this is better than the blue one. however I think you can do a lot better than this man, neither track really impressed me in any way.

think its safe to say we have a winner. Do we really need to wait to midnight to reveal whose tune is whose (As if we dont know already).

I think blue has more trouble with momentum. But I think blue could have won this, just totally screwed the pooch on that lead line (voicing and actual melody). Like so bad, it was fatal. As pointed out, some of the drum voicing was questionable.

Red is not sub driven, to say the least, but there is sub there. Red's failure in the sub department is less egregious than blue's failure in that lead line.

:O:

I have an idea of who is who, but why does everybody know who is who?

Yeah, I've heard one track from one of these producers, and I think I know who that is. I suppose if you were really familiar, you would know pretty easily.
