My gear list won't fit....
I'll just keep my lists to guitars:
Electro/Acoustic: Tanglewood Heritage Model TW45 H B
Electric: Ibanez FR, Ibanez SV5470F, Ibanez Jem 77
There's others but they're all classical guitars or ones I've bought from second hand shops to try to salvage, there's a bass or two in there as well...

I've got a few guitars, my favorite being my Fender Baja Telecaster. Run it through a fender champ amp. Now when I play it's usually fingerpicked Kaki King'ish stuff.
Used to mostly play metal.. technical death metal and black metal.

I fucking love kaki king. I had never heard of her until i caught her live in nyc at a free show in some park. She struck me as having a bit of an ego, but with amazing music to back it up. Fucking ill open tunings on guitars, lots of effects processing, and awesome ukelele player too. Good songs..... but she spilt a water bottle all over her pedal board toward the end of the show, caused some technicals, and she finished up acoustic with ukelele songs. Really good.
Respect if you can pick like that!!

True dat.
Line 6 stuff is good as well as long as you stay away from the spiders.

Ehx pedals are great sounding, but they're tempermental. Kind of fragile. I think boss makes great stuff. Maybe not as polished as ehx, but you can probably run over a boss pedal with a car and it would still work. And they much more compact. Just don't ever buy anything by digitech. Everything I've ever bought from them has broken. Except for the old stuff. Oh yeah, and the line6 spider amps... dear god. I used to have one of those. Wors sounding amp ever. They've got these really cool new amps though that are full tube modeling amps.

I played guitar on and off for about 3 years.
I'm actually gonna go sell all of my guitars back to guitar center today though

i've been playing for about 8 years on and off. play a black mexican telecaster and a yamaha electro-acoustic through a 1980's carlsbro amp. can't say i'm that interested in it anymore and i play drums a lot more often. untitled demo 3 on my soundcloud has some backwards guitar playing of mine in it

Right now I just play acoustic. I've got a Mitchell MD100S, far from top of the line but it's good enough for my level of playing. I think once I move and have more room for things I'll pick up a cheap amp and electric guitar for the hell of it, since I have some symphonic metal tracks that are currently using sampled guitars that I'm too lazy to go in and tweak to sound better.

I'm a drummer but my first instrument was a little acoustic guitar I got as a present when I was a little jit around 5. I still pick up my acoustic daily.
Also have a couple acoustics, including a 5-string bass acoustic/electric.
I have a les paul studio & a fender blues jr amp. pedal is a boss me-20. I play drums for fun in a fusion trio, it used to be once a week, but i recently moved so I'm just jamming solo.
Anyone in northern Wisconsin want to jam?

I've played for a few years. Have a Kustom amp, Ibanez guitar and a Boss pedal + an acoustic one.

The annoying thing is I can come up with good melodies and chord progressions on the guitar, but can't transfer any of it over when working with a midi keyboard. I guess it just comes down to not knowing enough theory in the end.
Anyone else have this problem?

I played my ibanez les paul copy in my sig track
have a few pedals, and some homemade ones, including a Neovibe and Echo Base (analog-like delay).
I usually record without an amp, and direct into my mixer--> then soundcard

If you don't know what note you're playing, look it up on a fretboard diagram or use a tuner and just translate it one note at a time?

Hah, only the stuff she plays on her electric, really. I'm not that good at guitar.
She's a great player. A lot of people overlook her songwriting because of her technique.
