Birthday beat too. Slightly less gritty, still so much power to it imo.
Best tunes off bad vibes?
So far for me in no order it is:
I can`t see you
It was whatever
Just us
same time
seriously
your stupid face
The entire album is great though.

His 'click clacks' for snare drum is what ignited my interest. Never heard anything like it. So subtle and precise. I was thinking of posting a 'production like Shloh or Flylo' because I was so curious, but now I got all I need from this one. Nice
"Places" , "Hot Boxing the Cockpit", "Teeth" are my favs.

HUGE fan of his sound. His remix of 'Shell of Light' is sublime...

Always been more attached to the LA school's approach to production. Can't emphasize a nice handheld sampler enough. I really don't think de-quantization is necessarily a staple of the style, plenty of shlohmo, baths, toki, etc. fit on the grid.

It's really about your own take on it. The first time I heard burial it blew my mind.
I tried to figure out how he did it, & started shaping a different sound.
I in no way shape or form sound like Burial, but I do think i'm heading in a weird direction musically.
To answer your question though..dig up some 808 kicks & some organic samples.
Guys like this are heavy on the ambiance as well, so make sure there is always something going on in the background.
Loving the sounds of this guy

I like some of his tunes others are a bit too avant garde to put it in a friendly way.
