the media just looooves to portray dennis kucinich as "tinfoil hat", but the guy is smart as a whip and will not back down from a good fight. don't believe the media BS, seriously. hunt down a few solid interviews (i.e. ones that just show Q&A and don't allow for as much editorializing/slanting of what he says. find out for yourself.

i would vote for him. i met him and paul wellstone at the same conference quite a few years ago, and both were intelligent, outspoken and no bullshit.

RIP wellstone.

as far as the question of what would happen if obama were up against, mccain, guiliani or romney...well...there's no accounting for idiocy (this IS the country that elected bush jr for pete's sake), but all 3 of those guys have some serious points against them.

both mccain and guiliani have flip flopped on their positions in several instances, and most people don't know who the fuck romney is.

guiliani is attempting to ride his fame from 9/11, but if you talk to firefighters and cops in NYC, they have no love for the man. that says a lot. it doesn't take a great man to stand up and say "keep it together." that's all he did...doesn't make him some great leader. and ask artists and gay people from NYC what they think of guiliani, you're bound to get a pretty long-winded pissed off answer too.

mccain used to go up against his own party a lot, and then he became the bush administration's iraq apologist. but now i see he has gone back to shittalking the administration. so he is supporting the war, but doing his best to separate himself from the administration now. oh and don't get me started on that whole "mccain found god and became a super freakazoid." we don't need another pres trying to shove his own religion down the rest of the world's throat, thanks.
now i don't think mccain is a dummy, but he doesn't come across as in touch with what's really going on in iraq and i don't think he can convince young people that he has his finger on the pulse of the planet. and being a POW/war hero doesn't automatically gain points either.

who is romney again? oh yeah, the mormon guy with the neatly kept hair.

All too true. He truly ignores opinion and perception for what he believes in, which is not nearly as baffling as the fact that seemingly no other american politican seems to do.

It's always bothered me the lack of actual representation of voters, and how who you vote for (ooh, pretty face, or "at least he won't let'em queers marry") is all that matters and people have littlle to no actual knowledge or interest in the issues that are real and affect them.

It seems the corporate and military lobbying machine has succeeded completely in obscuring what politics in a democracy is really about.

on kucinich (i'll learn how to spell his name someday):

like i say i don't know much about him, my republican father sez he's a tinfoil hat guy, but he also thinks ollie north was innocent, voted for regan, bush sr twice and bush jr twice.

who cares kucinich believes in aliens and mind control, is it that hard to believe they exist anyway.

i listen to alex jones, he's great! about 95% of what he says is dead on and about 5% is paranoid delusion, but that DOESN'T invalidate everything he says!

btw, John Stewart should seriously consider politics. fuck all this celebrities shouldn't be allowed nonsense coming from the right wingers. The first politicians in this country were not career politicians, they were doctors, lawyers, writers, etc...

Some celebrity politicians:
Ronald Regan (actor - republican)
Sonny Bono ("musician" - republican)
Arnold ("actor" - "republican")

do i need to go on?
