If you see a DJ playing only vinyl make it a point to go up to him at the end of the night and big him up for it.I did it to mala and he seemed to appreciate the sentiment.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, probably has, but I think big DJ's and producers still prefer vinyl, and thats why they push it on their label, but because they're well respected pioneers of the sound, they will get so many tunes and it would be too expensive to cut them all whereas when dubstep wasn't as big as it is now, there was only a small community of people making of tunes, thus making it more possible to cut everything. Not sure why i posted this cause its probably already been said somehwere.

sort of has, sort of hasn't. well said none the less. just would be sick to see more label heads playing vinyl and pushing it forward!

THIS! itll be a sad day when the medium is no longer viable... i just got into it as well so hopefully its here to stay despite the constantly diminishing market share

i can understand why it's appealing to get a digital vinyl system and start buying MP3's/WAV or whatever
but buying digital will never ever be as special as owning a tune on vinyl. for me, just being able to hold your music on a nice heavy 180g vinyl record makes me feel so happy

i just got my technics last month, and got serato in the thought that i'd save myself some coin in the long run, but i've been buying more records than i have been digital and I couldn;t agree more with you, always prefer mixing just with wax.

I bought my first decks a year ago then soon realised that 1210's were literally a world apart so I upgraded. A year on I just purchased an m-audio torq conectiv (kinda like serato) because it will enable me to record my record collection to my computer, but playing mp3's from the computer just sounds wrong!
