why would i be kidding? man is number 1 hip hop producer for me. 36 chambers production almost single hand redifned a genre when the west coast had really taken over rap and most east coast stuff was just biting off tribe call quest jazz-style beats.

if i said your mum. then i would be kidding

A refix of a particular Krush track is one of my continuing pet production projects..... just need to learn more bassline science to do it justice ;)

Chin High by Roots Manuva has a dubstep feel to it.
and he could rap over his dubstep beats, because roots manuva has teh best flow in all the land.
angelo badalamenti
hahahah yesssss
and yeah, i've sampled the fuck out of the Blue Velvet OST.

otherwise, I would say;
Madlib, Autechre, Blockhead, edIT(some of their tracks are at 70bpm... but not dubstep), but yes, i'd love to hear a bit more vocal dubstep. Dead Man Walking was fucking awesome, and perhaps we need some less abrasive vocal dubstep tracks

i was thinking recently about what would happen if guys like the Junior Boys made dubstep beats and sang over them.

DJ Premo would be whack.

Pete Rock Might be able to just pull of something a bit akin to dubstep.

good choices!

i was actually talking to someone yesterday about how heavy the bass would be if Dillinja did a dubstep tune. i'd love to hear a dubstep version of Ultrasonic Sound rmx.

D-Bridge would be awesome... i see Burial & him are on each others top myspace lists, a collab between those two would be amazing!

T-POWER, deffo.

LSP. He's done Trance and Jungle. He should try this.

Schnarph could bring some real brutal darkness.

Terence Fixmer could bring some robotics.

Or failing these, Timberbland could just 'kill' it. ;)

that would be sick.
also dnb wise calibre (hes done some really nice downtempo stuff), breakage, commix and lomax (whos been producin quite a lot of dubstep style basslines over dnb tempo beats).
