That's not rare.

I would just stick with Depone. Does it really matter how people pronounce it though? I mean it's spelled the same no matter how it's pronounced so you won't have to really change anything. I guess if it's just a pronunciation change though it shouldn't really affect you production wise as most people will just be like, "oh that's how it's pronounced!".

i always heard it in my head as "Depone" similar to "Capone" as well.... i reckon if you added your space, Dep One could fly.. people could start calling you by just Dep or Dep1 or what-have-you.. but there's already a lot of artists with this "1" or other numerics inserted into words and its fine and all, but kind of done to bits. plus you've got some good rep with your current name. n it sounds tough.. like an oldschool gangster ("Al Capone" , etc).

also who knows how many would assume it was "Deep One" misspelled ... which wouldn't be cool imo =\

keep the name, sounds really good to an italian listener/producer like me

in italian in fact, "depone" is the 3rd person singular of the verb "deporre" that according to wordreference.com could mean:

put down, lay down, cast down
dethrone, upset, overthrow
give testimoniation, testify, give evidence

voilà, new meaning!
