just loading this one now. it'll be interesting to hear his philosophy in regards to music/production. one of my heroes for sure.

With the Hank Shocklee one, I felt like I saw something truly important.

So I'm definitely going to end up spending more time watching these than going to my actual uni lectures this week now... Brilliant!

Yeah totally, the way he talks you can really tell he has a passion for the music that will never die. I like the way the he says he was always happy to be in the background, letting the other members of PE take the limelight.
Also inspired me to try and get my hands on an old school drum machine, try experimenting with tape saturation, trying different methods of eqing, sampling beats differently etc
Def my favourite one to date.

Yeah, I was disappointed when I clicked on it. Then again it does say Mark Ronson. And I can't find it on the RBMA website either. That sucks if it's gone for good.
If anyone has the FlyLo vid and could share it, it would be greatly appreciated.
I liked the Madlib one, but I felt like the interviewer pushed a bit too much and didn't allow Madlib to really breathe.
Shocklee one is nice, watching that now.

I'll go into more detail why exactly if anybody is interested, I was a participant this year.
Yeah - I had wanted to do it for a while... but figured it was for more up & coming cats - not crusties like me that been around the block a few times ... then I saw Poirier enrolled recently.. Aloe Blacc too. So - application is imminent!
Will PM you soon about your experiences Dis Nut!!
(btw - you got any new tunes - would love to drop some on my show)
