U don't properly read my friend(and yes I do know producers who are not in it for the cash, many breakcore artist's don't make any money at all), although, I was saying don't say skrillex is not in it for the money, when he definitely is. I did not say it was bad for him to do so.cmgoodman1226 wrote:Have you heard of any producers that don't want to make any money? because I certainly haven't.Phase Down wrote:Skrillex was fine with making coupla $100? fair play, but you didn't read mine either. I never said there were no producers that don't make any money, I'm a producer that doesn't make any money. My buddy has some releases and doesn't make any money. I was just stating that I don't know of any producers that say "I want to produce music, but I never want to make any money doing it". clearly just a ball of confusion between us, and my statement wasn't meant to be an attack, just a response.Phase Down wrote:U don't properly read my friend(and yes I do know producers who are not in it for the cash, many breakcore artist's don't make any money at all), although, I was saying don't say skrillex is not in it for the money, when he definitely is. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure his first few hits were made before ever even talking to mau5trap on a laptop with 1 working monitor. Granted his newer stuff is much better (mixing and mastering-wise), but his first few tunes were pretty well produced.deadly habit wrote:so did anyone hear his production quality before hooking up with deadmau5? just saying...
