except they started in luton following from the welsh defence league. they've also had failed protests in luton and tower hamlets, not to mention their 'divisions' ranging from all areas across the uk whether it be bristol, oxford or sunderland

also i don't think it's just london. no matter where you go there will be a minority of racists, not because a multi cultural society doesn't work, but because people aren't educated properly. when the government does something to try and educate people (i've heard about schools going to visit mosques, and why the hell not in my opinion) and it's the same ignorant people that complain about it, usually coming out with the old 'muslims want sharia law enforced upon us british', despite the fact that they, including the leader of the edl stephen 'tommy robinson' lennon, don't know what sharia law actually is.

but the opinions of the bigots will remain the same. if they live in an area with a high level of ethnic minorities they will get scared that they're 'taking over' or if they live in an area of middle class white folk then they won't know any better because of the lack of social skills with other ethnic groups. what needs to be done is to change the minority of white brits minds and we can all live in a respectable community easier said than done though.
