I had a friend who lived here for 3 years, back and forth to the UK.
He`s just gone back.
He managed to get a full time programming job for the local university, pretty quickly as well.
The thing with SA is that quite often you can get a job here based on your skills and experience.
It not like they`ll ignore you because you`re a foreigner.
A good worked is a good worker.
The cost of living is a hell of a lot cheaper than other countries.
The quality of life is also exceptional.

The list goes on and on.

Should I create the same exaggerated list about your country for now reason what so ever?
I`m giving you a first-hand heads-up but you choose to post the BS that the media churns out.

I will add though that a friend of mine from the UK was living here for 3-4 years and he preferred it hands-down.
He preferred the weather, general std of living, cost of living, the dope, the people, etc.

But when you do finally decide it`s worth it, you`ll realize I was telling the truth.

Couldn't tell you what the job market is like, but I couldn't see it being too far from average (also depends oon what you're looking for); but the nightlife is pretty sweet, they have a really good dubstep crew there too. The West End is probably where you'll wanna be, as (from what I know) it is the most anglophone friendly area. Although I've heard that certain people in certain parts of the city get really pissed off if you can't speak French.
