why would someone even waste their time with that in a DAW.. like, what a waste of time, it's nickleback, it's already shit, it's not going to get any better anytime soon hahaha.
i only listened to like half, but there was no super filthy drop, has the world changed?!

hahah, no. generic 'wobblez' were used.
tbh, it sounds like it was played in vdj with constant use of fx while a snare & kick played on the other track

lol good point. A rare case of a crappy dubstep remix without a filthy drop that actually manages to be worse than if it did have a filth drop.

Didn't the SAME THING happen to Drum and Bass? If I remember correctly Pendulum were very influential on bringing drum and bass to the masses ... and If I also remember correctly didn't this cause every drum and bass fan to hate Pendulum? Because now kids who are 14 are "drum and bass" fans but only listen to the pop stuff... and pendulum sound NOTHING like what the original drum and bass sound was.
My point is.. this isnt unique to Dubstep ... the more people who listen to a genre the better because then there are more opportunities for new and upcoming producers to make a living doing what they love.
ps: "Hold Your Colour" is my no.1 EDM album of all time.

i like it because you can listen to the album from start to finish and it evolves the whole time. it is high energy and interesting. there are plenty of amazing albums out there but hold your colour has just been on my ipod for so many years that it holds a special place!

LOL
not really, i just prefer to listen to music on a decent soundsystem/stereo, as opposed to using a pair of cheap earphones/headphones....
