Coki's mindset is to produce and master music which is completely centered around soundsystems, that is what dubstep used to be about, and should still be in my mind. As Kode 9 said way back on that old dubstep documentary, and I paraphrase...

'I don't make music for people to listen to in their bedrooms, I make it to be played on the biggest and loudest soundsystems out there!'

I don't think I own one Coki record which sounds good on my home speakers, but playing them out is a whole different story!

I appreciate that bass weight is best felt on a proper system, mine can still produce a decent depth of sound though. This track just sounds cobbled together.

Its not just the weight on this one though... huge range of mids/highs that when played through amazing tweeters just sound unreal when combined with all that weight! A bit like this tune as well...

I find it funny that people reckon the vocal line ruins the entire song, it's only there for about 15 seconds!

I'm still not so sure it's not. It sounds just like some prime DJ Wanka material. But of course, people will continue to perpetuate this cycle of uplifting anything related to DMZ based on it's name & regardless of it's quality.
