One thing I don't get is working with Drake when he basically
slated the shit out of the OVO crew in "Blow My High."

The Art Of Peer Pressure. :o :Q:

So far, so good... gonna need a few more spins to catch all the verses properly though. I think Section.80 impressed me a bit more on first listen, but that was also the first time I heard him at all, so it's probably not a totally fair test. The production and rapping is on point as FUCK, but I'm not convinced the songs are as strong.

Very fucking good.

Dr Dre sounds ridiculous on Compton.

And not in a good way.

Sherane, Backseat, Art Of Peer Pressure, m.A.A.d city, Swimming Pools and Real are all absolutely splendid.

Lmao why do people even let Shyne have an opinion? Irrelevant, talentless motherfucker.

I'm noticing a trend in SNH where people criticise music not by looking at the actual quality of the tunes, but by judging it based off the demographic they think listens to it...

After the third listen, it's not as good as Section.80. The production is brilliant, the rapping is A-One, but the subject matter just isn't as strong... nothing really to rival Fuck Your Ethnicity, No Makeup or Kush & Corinthians... it feels like his party/comedown album made through the haze of touring rather than the next installment of HiiiPower from the street.

Good though. Very good.

definitely

as for the album, i've seen a lot stronger work from him tbh... guess i can't expect every tune to be another cartoon & cereal, but just wasn't as impressed with this as section 80 or some of the other one-offs he's done. that one with dre is awful.

swimming pools is still infectious though
