Well, it looks like poetry.
And your face looks like a baboon's arse.

I give up.
I'm going to stick to writing about medieval history
from the peasants' points of view
which is kinda what we're doing on here for modern times
I pity the historian who, in the future, tries to wade thru today's mass of posts/tweets
to get a coherent picture of our times.
I guess it will be seen as a time of democratization of voice,
confusion of the facts
and self-indulgence (to which I confess)
historically,
we'll probably be seen as the time of transition from tribalism & nationalism
to the planetary hegemony of technocrats
I hope that our disinterested experts,
whilst saving the world from grubby peasants like me
can come up with some inspirational distractions.

you love an illusion dear reperv
if you knew the real me...
as I sit here in my wheelchair,
blowing through this tube to form words,
my scarred, motionless hands lying before me
struggling to stay positive in the face of my gradual deterioration...
my angry outbursts at my carers,
& savage, jealous judgements of passers-by
unappreciative of their intact limbs & facilities;
the cruel torments I dream of inflicting
on those I believe are wasting their opportunity to change what I can't.
you could not love such a deformed, damaged being

hey
my hand just moved
I feel like standing up
Pushing away the wheelchair now.
My carers are screaming.
I am standing!
I feel wonderful!
It must be the transformative power of love that I've heard of
& it's all because of you reperv!
Thank you.
(I'm just going for a run around the block)
