I like the message in this song, but the delivery is just absolutely terrible. It's not even good brostep.

That's not so good no. Wonder how the fuck they believe that they are able to perform that out live, without just doing a playback?

Nah, Muse had incorporated electronic elements into their music waaaaay before now. It's more that they used to make music of a much higher standard to this.

That's what their fans would like you to believe. >.>

^ Nine years ago that might have been close to true but in 2006 it started to go tits up. One or two decent tracks on Black Holes and Revelations but imo Absolution was the final Muse album.

Just to reiterate, Showbiz was Muse's best album and everything they have released subsequently has been on a steady decline in quality, this abomination seems to be the logical conclusion of that downward spiral... I shan't be giving them any more chances to win me back.

They were always a standard mainstream alt rock band. A bunch of "epic lol" synths don't change that.

remember songs like Absolution, Thoughts of a Dying Atheist, Apocalypse Please
Shit was incredible songwriting. Simple chops, but fuck, they were a great band.
for them to suddenly crank out awful brostep with all synths and sequenced drums at 140, it isn't just them still incorporating electronica into their rock. It's exactly what it looks like --- slowpoke bandwagoners who don't even have the skills. for a rock outfit to have a release like that in 2012, just makes you look like not only a poseur idiot, but also an oblivious retard.

I liked Bliss, Newborn and Muscle Museum, and apart from that, I don't get the hype.

l0l i expected this post to end in, "this is great for edm music guys". smh, most people who make boring two-tone dungeon aren't brostep producers, maybe the guys you play are but not the tunes you'll hear on rinse.

audio in vid is dead,

when are people going to realise this is a shit career decision..

i'm not even talking about my dislike for shitty bro-step synths or anything like that.. but this sound is everywhere, it really is becoming more prominent, you can hear a shitty bro wobble on the TV, radio.. pretty much general public sound transmitter.

props for exploring a sound and stuff, but they had a sound, which was at some point in time unique to themselves, now they have gone and included a trending sound in an album, that will be forgotten as soon as "dubstep" dies down..

it just stumps me as too why it is such a popular decision, it was a different sound, about 3 years ago... nowadays it's everywhere... ugghhhh the world.
