Heard from a few people that they've been ripping off IMAX tickets/screenings. Friend of mine paid full IMAX price but it was just upscaled video on a slightly bigger screen (not IMAX ratio).

A lot of it doesn't follow the comic. I was both satisfied and dissatisfied with the ending for different reasons however.

First off the movie was great its how it ended which sucks. Nolan apparently combined ideas from. Knightfall and dark Knight returns

To be clear bane doesn't kill Batman in the comics. He paralyzes him and then Batman asks azrael to replace him. He then comes back from retirement to clean up the Batman legacy after azrael is a shitty Batman.

This is not the role levitts char plays. His character doesn't really exist in the.Batman world though he is similar to azrael. But that is shit all over with the Robin implications. Robin and azrael are not the same person. Robin does not replace Batman after bane breaks his back. For me this is a big fuck.up for Nolan. Nothing bad would have happened focusing on azrarl and following knightfall lore. It would still eventually have room for Robin. It just makes no sense to me

Controversial ending aside, I also thought some scenes must have been omitted because it all felt a bit... jarring in certain places, and I'm fairly certain some major lines/scenes from the trailers were cut. I'm hoping for a director's cut DVD.

who gives a fuck about how much it stuck with the comics. i own so much batman its disgusting, and i never really cared about how much it stuck to any story.

im more concerned with the fact that bane broke batman's back, put him in supposedly the worst prison in the world, and a random dude he is imprisoned with shoves one of his vertebral discs back into his vertebral column and he recovers just fine. that was absolute pure shit. second, letting batman die should have happened. not some auto pilot bullshit. it would have been so much more powerful. also fuck everything about catwoman and the awkward love interest between bruce and her, and how from some silly experiences they had, bruce left everything his life was and went off to enjoy his life with her. that was not who batman or bruce wayne is or ever was. the kissing scenes were cheesy. why, and im yelling this but not writing in caps, why did bane die from a motorcycle blast catwoman shot, which was in part of bane's periphery? just terrible writing.. i thought he could see better than batman, growing up in the darkness, where batman was one to adopt this ability??!? GAH. bane should have been able to see that coming but the story was just poorly executed.
the writing portraying "this is what a revolution looks like" including every negative cliche of a world without the police is absolute shit. the slow cut scenes which show the police as some kinds of heroes right before the battle with bane's followers made my mouth taste like ashes.

im going to keep going.

fuck bringing robin's name into the mix, leaving the capitalist opportunity to do another series with robin, and why is robin a cop? here's hoping by the time i die, we will see fifteen more batman movies, and five of them are origin stories. all regurgitated storylines with no originality. CANT WAIT. making miranda the child that escaped from the prison was so weak... when she climbed into the moving semi-truck guarding the nuke, she seemed so weak and feeble compared to bane. they needed to portray her stronger, more sinister, and more determined than bane if the same impact he had on the audience were to follow between characters which did not happen.

Was a good movie for sure, but nowhere near as good as the first two. Simply jumped about the place far too busy, too much exposition dialogue. Bane was a good villain, and though I could tell Cottilard was going to be Neesons daughter, felt a bit peeved that it was her doing all along and bane kind of lost some of his importance due to it.

Catwoman was good but I can't buy her and brucey falling in love and flying off to france or something so quickly.

Countdown bomb is a bit tired to be honest. TDK had a much better "crisis" at the end of it.

Not enough Batman for a batman movie, spent more time in his helicopter

Breaking the bat scene was SICK, shame that he seemed to recover from it in like no time at all (hey ill just punch you in the back, you hang here for a bit, do some press ups)

Didn't really like how all the cops were heroic and shit at the end, I thought in gotham the cops were supposed to be as crooked as the crims.


But then I didn't love the first two when I watched them originally, so perhaps it needs a second viewing when I'm not as tired.

I loved the film.

It ended this series/trilogy nicely, although I think it would have had more impact if batman had died. My wife cried during the funeral scene. She said they made her cry "for nothing". That pissed me off. It would have been more realistic if he died, and this series was based on realism (as opposed to the stupidity of most Batman movies).

I loved Bane’s voice. I liked the voice acting, I liked the effects they did to it. It was perfect. Couldn’t get enough of hearing him talk. And his lines were powerful. But, he died too suddenly & stupidly though.

Just like the Joker, Nolan doesn’t know what to do with his Villians after he’s built up such an impressively overwhelming character. Nowhere to go with them.

But as an overall movie, esp considering how horrible the rest of the Batman films have been, these 3 were fan-damn-tastic.

Also, Anne Hathaway’s eyes are enormous. Like anime eyes. I like that.

I was going crazy on the inside when Batman was beating the living ish out of him, why stop when he actually dies?
Other than that, it was a great film and yes it was VERY HOLLYWOOD! But that's who made the film and it was great nonetheless

I went to see it yesterday and enjoyed it.

I too am a bit miffed how bane died,i was hoping for an unreal battle between him and batman after he fucked him up in the sewers.
Anyway i really enjoyed it and am glad i went to see it,the visuals were amazing and bane was a quality character.

Am I the only one that wishes that batman had failed and the bomb had gone off?
