I've never understood the complaint about not enough girls on the forum. I really don't care what gender people posting on a music forum are when i'm never going to meet any of them.

And don't give the arguement that it brings a wider range of views, with all the different nationalities and backgrounds of people on here there's more than enough different opinions even if it is all blokes

Its not just dubstep. Underground music in general, cars, sport, porn, they don't generally have the same geeky obsessions with these things

Unlike you southstar i have met a fair number of people on here and its nice to have a bit of female company, i would rather not have people i like being pushed away

A lot of us do meet up offline though (in fact, I've met LACE - an American that was visiting London from her home in Iceland and I've not met you when you come from Reading!)... and, well, it's generally just nice having girls around, isn't it? It discourages us blokes from shaming ourselves by acting like badly trained chimps.

Same's true in a lot of environments. I currently work in an office with almost zero female presence - it's a fucking nightmare in here*.

regardless, the notion that women would be dying to partake in this forum if it wasn't for some seedy undercurrent of sexist ladism is utterly ridiculous.

anywho it's not about whether it's ok or not, it's about how both their angles (white tram lady and black tram lady) are different which is what you've seemed to miss. there's no doubt that black tram lady is a racist, but one has to take into account the difference of power and position in society between both races. white racism is a bit different due to the fact that it can easily become accepted in the perceptions of all other white people which becomes truth. and it's white perception that really matters, because this is a white dominated society. i mean, its dangerous because blacks have very little power over whites.black people can't limit your opportunities institutionally. i mean in general, it's just less threatening.
