Syrian authorities on Thursday sent text messages over cell phones nationwide with a message for rebels fighting President Bashar Assad's regime: "Game over."
Jokes. Also included was a still from aliens.
So glad we've put down our weapons of war and decided just to use Super Soakers. We have evolved. Also who is shooting that Japanese water cannon? You are doing it wrong. Shoot the boat, THE BOAT!

You're 55.
And I'm catching up, bro.
I was a kid at the time of the Iranian revolution, btw.

At the end of the day what can you do about it anyway? People have been have been quoting the end time messages in the bible ever since the Roman empire days, only makes sense that this time it's really gonna happen until we realize it dident happen, but it will next time for sure. 2012 is only the next doomsday on the long list of previous doomsday prophecies, if anything does happen you can bet it will be a man made apocalypse not some supernatural, biblical, NWO or extraterrestrial event. This bullshit is only working because the masses of first world countries are so addicted to mass media and so full of fear they don't even consider not believing what they see on the news and just living their life as an option. WW3 (or any war) would not happen if everyone just said fuck this, like no one for or against it just fucking walk away. But I know that could not ever happen. I dunno we kinda need some major apocalyptic event to wake us all the fuck up and hopefully burn away all the scum that is fucking up our world.
The earth may be destroyed, but at least the universe will keep on keeping on, thats more important anyway.

That is the standard, isn't it. I think in international politics it is more like, 'your currency is worthless'...

This may be a recipe for bliss/ignorance, but I have family that pulled their head out of the sand and got the fuck out of Germany before those stnuc started making furniture out of our relatives. There is something to be said for awareness and appropriate reaction. There were two alternatives there: do nothing, assume everything will normalize or GTFO! People that made the right choice... well they continue on to this day.
I believe in life, human life, and I'd like my daughter to experience the unmatched joy of making a human being. I believe in it, and I want it for her.

Ankara warned it would take action if its territory was again hit - a mortar bomb hit a town on its southeastern frontier on Friday.
Okay, Turkey has been edgy since the start of the civil war, but Turkey is now escalating? That gives Nato a clear path to intervention in Syria, and by extension into Iran?

"Today, due to the continued U.S. hostile policy towards DPRK, the vicious cycle of confrontation and aggravation of tensions is an ongoing phenomenon on the Korean peninsula, which has become the world's most dangerous hot spot where a spark of fire could set off a thermonuclear war," Pak said.
